University of Miami Experience (UMX100)

Welcome to your first official course as a Miami Hurricane!

This graded online course is located in Blackboard, UM’s student learning portal. It includes ten online modules that guide you through the steps to be completed before your arrival to campus.

Topics include everything from how to use CaneLink, the University’s student portal, to how to register for courses. Modules and their respective due dates are listed below. Each module will be assigned as they become relevant to your journey on the Road to UM, so keep an eye out for notifications in your UM email. 

Note: Assignments for the Fall 2026 class will be posted in mid-March.
